How do they calculate cut off mark TNEA anna university counselling 2012 ?

you need 3 subject marks physics chemistry and maths


1. Add physics and chemistry marks 
2. Then divide it by 2
3. Keep this separately
4. Now add with maths mark
5. Again divide it by 2. 
6. Now you got your cut off mark.


Example:

Step 1:

Physics = 160
Chemistry = 170
Maths = 180

Step 2: 160+170 = 330
Step 3: 330/2 = 165

Step 4. 180+165 = 345

Step 5. 345/2 = 172.5

Cut off mark is 172.5
